Evening Coffee and Brownie at Café Arabica, Mosque Road Bengaluru
Do you know where the word “cappuccino” comes from?
To most people – Italian and otherwise – the word “cappuccino” refers first and foremost to what is probably the most popular Italian coffee export. But the word “cappuccino” itself is much older, and has entirely un-food-related origin.
Lets get back to café Arabica, a cool and serene place to hangout with friends or maybe sometimes all alone, and guys out there this place can be great place to bring a girl for 1st date at Bengaluru’s famous Mosque Road, Frazer Town.
For those who have no idea about Mosque Road, it is one of the places in Bengaluru which has numerous Restaurants and Fast Food Joints, Cafés, Speciality Restaurants. An on road café with bright vibrant ambience, with outdoor as well as indoor sitting. The café Arabica is famous for its sweet and savouries from India to Arabic delicacies, even few international bakery and confectionery delicacies along with a great range of hot and cold beverages prepared by the in house chef of Café Arabica. A mid budget Café with good food and drinks. A good service by the staff.
I went around evening at 7 and ordered Cappuccino along with Chocolate Brownie. So let’s talk about the cappuccino. For those don’t have idea what is cappuccino, simply the basic make-up of a cappuccino is roughly 1/3 coffee, 1/3 hot milk and 1/3 frothed/foamed milk but you may also hear people ask for a dry cappuccino (more froth) or a wet cappuccino (less froth). Cappuccino was fine and can be improved in taste but the presentation was upto the mark, and it is decently priced.
Now for the Brownie, it was good, moist and cakey and chocolate syrup drizzled all over it, though I have had better, but brownie is like every place you try a brownie it’s different. Now you will be like don’t brownie have to be moist and gooey, no my friends there are various kinds of brownies cakey to gooey and moist.. Brownie is actually a American fusion of cake and cookie, the invention of culinary dishes can be complicated, and the brownie is no exception. Some myths state that a chef accidentally added melted chocolate to some biscuits, or was making cake but didn’t have enough flour; still others say that a housewife in Bangor, Maine, forgot to add baking powder to her chocolate cake. But most evidence points to one source: Chefs at Chicago’s Palmer House Hotel, who created the tasty treat for the World Columbian Exposition of 1893. A warm, moist and gooey brownie with crisp top and lot chocolate syrup drizzled above the brownie is just so foodgasmic (oohmp).
